Brazilian Lookbook - Carnival

Brazilian Lookbook - Carnival

Before I went on my hiatus, I did a series of cultural lookbooks and someone requested a Brazilian lookbook that I never got around to. So for this lookbook I decided to focus on looks you'd see at the Carnival of Brazil

Carnival is held annually between the Friday afternoon before Ash Wednesday at noon, which marks the beginning of Lent, the forty-day period before Easter. During Lent, Roman Catholics and some other Christians traditionally abstained from eating meat and poultry, hence the term "carnival", from carnelevare, "to remove (literally, "raise") meat.

Carnival is the most popular holiday in Brazil and has become an event of huge proportions. The country unifies completely for almost a week and festivities are intense, day and night, mainly in coastal cities. Rio de Janeiro's carnival alone drew 4.9 million people in 2011, with 400,000 being foreigners.

You can find these sims on the gallery under Origin ID: eregister or you can download the tray files here (mediafire, no ads.) You will still need to download all the CC for your sims to look like mine.

I created four sims for this lookbook (from left to right, first photo): Celia, Rhonda, Barbara, and Luz; that's the order you'll find their CC.

Thank you SO much to the CC creators I used and enjoy!
