Long time no see y'all! I've taken a pretty long break from the Sims 4 but I finally got back into the game when I was inspired to create a pop music icon: Britney Spears.  

Like a lot of us, I was horrified to get a glimpse into the hell she's been living in the past 14 years under her conservatorship.  But I'm very happy that we're finally getting to a place in society where we're talking about mental heath and she is able to get her day(s) in court.  I hope she gets her freedom from her father and some form of justice soon.  For this lookbook, I only created outfits she wore before the conservatorship, where she presumably had some control of her career/finances/life. 

Forgive my crappy editing...I struggled trying to get my two in-game screenshots to kind of match my CAS screenshots.

1940's Lookbook Part 2

1940's Lookbook Part 2

A combination of re-watching the Marvel movies, the launch of TSR's Retro ReBOOT, and watching Agent Carter for the first time finally gave me the inspiration to complete the last of my Decades Part Two series: the 1940's Part 2. 

The 1940's were defined by a clean and slim silhouette with a somewhat military feel. Jackets, blouses, sweaters, and skirts were short and close-fitting, all unadorned and with the requisite sharp shoulder pads. Long sleeves were out, dresses were casual, and pants and 'playsuits' became everyday attire.

Two of my sims were inspired by people you may recognize: fictional Peggy Carter and actress/inventor Hedy Lamarr.

Set three weeks after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) are living an idyllic suburban life in the town of Westview, New Jersey, trying to conceal their true natures. As they begin to enter new decades and encounter television tropes, the couple suspects that things are not as they seem.

I used Origin ID: Ritpit01's 'Vision' and RSL!'s 'Elizabeth Olsen' as base sims and most of these outfits were created by CanTranSimmer and Arckansims, so big shout out to them and their incredible talent!

Bridgerton Lookbook

Bridgerton Lookbook


Bridgerton is an American streaming television period drama series created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes. It is based on Julia Quinn's novels set in the competitive world of Regency era London's ton during the season, when debutantes are presented at court. 

As I am not always the best at recreating real people, I started with base sims by the following Origin IDs: MairMay (Daphne and Simon), Sophia2202 (Anthony and Marina), Ragdoll1994 (Eloise and Penelope), and Jayjay1087 (Queen Charlotte and Lady Danbury.) Thank you all so much for sharing your incredible skills with the rest of us mere mortals! As usual, I made my own tweaks, added makeup and skin details, etc. 

I was late on the Bridgerton bandwagon, but I'm here now! I recolored quite a few pieces to try to capture the show's Modern Regency aesthetic...as bright yellow and hot pink weren't big in the early 1800's 😉 I hope it did them justice!
