Hidden Figures Lookbook


Hidden Figures (2016) is an American biographical drama film about Black female mathematicians who worked for NASA during the Space Race in 1961.  The film stars Taraji P. Henson as Katherine Johnson, a mathematician who calculated flight trajectories for Project Mercury and other missions. The film also features Octavia Spencer as NASA supervisor and mathematician Dorothy Vaughan and Janelle Monáe as NASA engineer Mary Jackson.

Titanic Lookbook - Part 2


Titanic (1997) follows Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslet) who is forced into an engagement to Cal Hockley (Billy Zane) so she and her mother, Ruth DeWitt Bukater (Frances Fisher), can maintain their high-class status after her father's death left the family debt-ridden. Rose boards the ill-fated RMS Titanic with Cal and Ruth, as a first-class passenger, and meets Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio), a third-class passenger. 

Among those in first-class is Margaret "Molly" Brown (Kathy Bates), who is looked down upon by other first-class women, including Ruth, as "vulgar" and "new money". She is friendly to Jack and lends him her son's evening suit when he is invited to dinner in the first-class dining saloon. 

This is Part 2 of my Titanic series: Part 1 focused on Rose DeWitt Bukater and Part 2 features Ruth, Cal, Margaret and Jack (...and Rose again because I didn't find her dinner dress until yesterday)

Titanic Lookbook - Rose


Titanic (1997) follows Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winselt) and Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) as members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the RMS Titanic during its ill-fated maiden voyage in 1912.

I could lie and say Titanic is a favorite movie of mine, but it honestly traumatized me as a child. I begged my mother to take me to see it in theatres because all my elementary school buds had seen it. Little did I (or my parents) know, I would end up having nightmares for years about drowning or losing my family in a Titanic-like disaster. HOWEVER, as an adult I can obviously appreciate the beauty of the costumes, sets and overall filmography.

I couldn’t fabricate all of Rose’s outfits but for the ones I attempted, I tried to find the correct shape and/or color palette if I couldn’t find an exact recreation.

The Good Place Lookbook

The Good Place Lookbook

The Good Place is a show that aired on NBC from September 2016 to January 2020 starring Ted Danson, Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, D'Arcy Carden and Manny Jacinto.  

I've comfort-watched the whole series on Netflix a few times this pandemic so it was only a matter of time until I made the cast in the Sims 4. 

I hope you enjoy this rendition of a selfish ass, an idiot DJ, a tortured academic, a hot rich fraud with legs for days, a literal demon and Busty Alexa!

Shout out to the talented simsmily and MrsHiddleston339; I used some of their gallery sims as bases for mine.
