Decades Lookbook: The 1930's


Up next in my 20th Century Decades series was also requested by @sarkana-sims and is the 1930's. 

When I first thought about 30's fashion I drew a blank. Once I did some research, I realized I attributed many of these styles to the 20's and 40's. 

Fashion was quite glamorous for those not suffering from the Great Depression.  The 30's is also the era of Old Hollywood where women wore long, elegant bias cut gowns and skirts that were long columns with a slight flare at the hem. Men wore broad-shouldered suits and high-waisted pants.
