Game of Thrones Lookbook

Like most of the world, I enjoyed Game of Thrones up until the last season. Though having lived through most of 2020, I now understand Dany's choice to burn it all down.  

I downloaded these sims from the gallery made by much more talented simmers than me and then made some tweaks/added cc.  I tried to give everyone outfits they wore later in the series if it was possible, and threw in some bonus outfits for Daenerys, Sansa and Cersei.

Hairspray Lookbook

Hairspray Lookbook

Hairspray (2007) is a musical romantic comedy film based on the 2002 Broadway musical of the same name, which in turn was based on John Waters's 1988 comedy film of the same name. Set in 1962 Baltimore, Maryland, the film follows the "pleasantly plump" teenager Tracy Turnblad as she pursues stardom as a dancer on a local TV dance show and rallies against racial segregation.

Big shout out to @twentiethcenturysims who, thanks to their Hairspray expertise, helped me pick which outfits to recreate!

Cottagecore (also known as Farmcore or Countrycore) is an aesthetic inspired by a romanticized interpretation of western agricultural life. Many outfits, while pretty, are impractical for the farming and gardening work that the aesthetic revolves around.

Decade Lookbook: 1930's Part 2


The 1930's are a forgotten in-between decade of fashion, overshadowed by the economic turmoil of the Great Depression. In this decade fashion saw a profound influence from Hollywood and stars like Clark Gable, Joan Crawford, and Shirley Temple. Clothing styles also featured a return to conservatism after the Roaring Twenties.

Decade Lookbook: 2000's

Decade Lookbook: 2000's


2000's fashion was global mash up of trends that included the fusion of previous vintage styles, global and ethnic clothing (e.g. boho), and the fashions of numerous music-based subcultures. 

Hip-hop artists expanded into fashion in the 00's with brands such as Rocawear, Ekko and Sean Jean and also rapped about fashion trends, such as the Nelly classics: Grillz and Air Force Ones.  

In an entirely different subculture, Emo bands like Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance and Taking Back Sunday inspired emo/scene teens to straighten their hair, wear heavy eyeliner and rep their favorite bands or cartoons on their hoodies.

Other popular trends: Trucker hats, visible underwear, low rise jeans, logo jewelry and purses, velour tracksuits (Juicy Couture if you were rich or famous), airbrush and/or rhinestone words on shirts, and hair scarves.
